Throughout my practical pedagogical stage I observed that any knowledge
I acquired in this course Methodology in foreign language teaching on teaching
methods was fundamental to understand and understand the dynamics inside and
outside the classroom, because with those tools or previous knowledge that I
obtained I was able to identify which methods or strategies the teacher
implemented in her classes, in the same way that method implements the
institution to reach its objectives established during the academic year, in
addition to observing and analyzing whether these methodologies were the most
appropriate for the area, level, and needs of students, and thanks to that
analysis I saw the connection between current teaching methods such as
community language learning, content learning based instruction, cooperative language
learning, the natural approach, the silent way,
among others… with which I implement the teacher in the classroom for
example, task-based-language-teaching, total-physical-response,
the-perceptions-about-computer-assisted and cooperative-language-learning,
which were the most used in her classes, all of them have a slight connection
in the teaching of languages such as class management, implementing recognition
and application activities in a group and individual way, the interaction of
students with their environment, subjects, language and teacher, therefore I
also understood how important it is to make a diagnosis of the previous
knowledge and the level of the students before implementing any method, since
with this you know what their strengths and weaknesses are, identifying the
needs of students and the field and thus analyzing which methods are able to
meet or meet the needs identified effectively and meaningfully, whether a
single method achieves the objective or a combination of methods, therefore it
is essential that the teacher knows all the methods and approaches that exist
and that they are in constant training of them, because it not only serves to
know them but to know how to implement them in their classes, in addition to
knowing the different types of learning that exist and that exist in their
class; as well as observing in my practice the teacher tried to combine
different methods in her classes to get each student to understand the subject
and participate in her learning process in one way or another.
